The President of the College of Aesthetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery of Yucatan, one of the 31 states of Mexico, located in the south-east of the territory, in the northern part of the peninsula of the same name in Mexico declared that the state became an epicenter of medical tourism and mainly with regard to the cosmetic surgery sector.
The president informed to have received visitors from various countries including Canada, Spain and the United States of America who choose Yucatan in Mexico for the high quality of the services provided and for the economy of the procedures.
This state of Mexico has strived to offer first-class cosmetic surgery at significantly lower prices than other regions, and their combination has led to a 60% increase in international patients in the past three years.
The president added that this attractive offer is not only limited to competitive prices but also to the remarkable quality of medical services with local plastic surgery professionals who have earned a great reputation for their skill and ability.
Lined to this prestige, a constant flow of international patients who are looking for aesthetic treatments of the highest quality and for this growing demand there has been an expansion of medical infrastructure in the region with the opening of new specialized medical centers.
