Nuevo León - Mexico | Science & Cooking World Congress - 03rd - 05th September 2024

 

Nuevo León, northeastern Mexican state, will host Science & Cooking World Congress from 03rd to 05th September 2024.   

For some time this state of Mexico has been one of the most important culinary hubs at a national level where the search for gastronomic innovation hand in hand with science, technology and the experience of traditional chefs and internationally renowned chefs have found constant development.

Rodrigo Velázquez reported that "The Chef Meets Mexico" will work with the state of  Nuevo León, for him gastronomy is the discipline that studies the relationship of the human being with his food, his environment and everything that surrounds him.

Nowadays we intend to disseminate and talk about gastronomy but not only from the point of view of work in the kitchen but also from the point of view of education and social impact.

For all this, Nuevo León will be the appropriate venue to hold a series of conferences communicating with both professionals in the sector and with cooking and tourism enthusiasts on the topics mentioned above.

The Science & Cooking World Congress event will feature conferences that began five years ago, in the 2019 edition held in Barcelona and today the gastronomic industry intends to contribute to major global challenge as famine.

Velázquez explained that there will be experts who will talk about these issues for three days, chefs of great prestige who will talk about their personal projects to improve environmental and social practices as well as try to promote social awareness

The "Manifesto of Scientific Gastronomy Barcelona 2019" brings together three main disciplines such as academia, the basis for consolidation in training and documentation, gastronomic with the interrelationship of chefs and pastry chefs with the gastronomic, academic and social world, creating structures of information and dissemination in society.

One of the leading international experts in science and cuisine Pere Castells known for having launched the foundations of molecular cuisine together with Ferran Adrià and the Roca brothers are part of the members of the congress together with scientists from Harvard, NASA among other prominent leaders who will visit the congress to be held in Nuevo León.
