Tripadvisor has a new feature that will allow users to book the desired hotel directly from the portal app.
The US group's platform already has implemented this new feature where Tripadvisor members can have the opportunity to book restaurants, experiences and now it is introducing the new online hotel booking feature.
To develop all this, Tripadvisor has entered into a partnership agreement with HTS, Hopper Technology Solutions which will see the enhancement of hotel bookings as well as offering an inventory of accommodation in the Tripadvisor app.
Tripadvisor President Kristen Danton declared that the group's desire is for the app to be an essential tool for members, which is why it started with the introduction of Tripadvisor's AI Trip Builder in early 2023 and will continue with the implementation of this latest improvement.
The opportunity to book the hotel directly within the app is a crucial part of the user journey and the partnership with HTS allows Tripadvisor to focus internal efforts to create an exceptional user experience while leveraging a partner to grow at a faster pace.
