Visit Greece, the renewed app offered and launched by GNTO, Tourism of Greece, offers new services and products that will make the trip to all those who are planning to travel to Greece much more pleasant and with a lower environmental impact.
The use of this app allows the visitor to discover essentially lesser-known destinations in the Hellenic country throughout the year by exploring maps and helping to plan the trip to Greece in an optimal way, also helping the traveller to find all the information regarding a wide variety of events throughout the country.
Sponsored by Eurobank and supported by Mastercard, the Visit Greece app is available free of charge on iOS and Android on the e-APP Store and Play Store.
With new features this app will allow everyone to explore new aspects of Greece today, also getting to know the destination bound to its principles in promoting sustainable development tourism taking into account social sensitivity, heritage conservation, climate change and minimizing the environmental footprint while recognizing the contribution of tourism to social cohesion.
It will also be possible to enjoy travel experiences in 10 destinations on the mainland and islands through Visit Greece through "Sustainable Greece", an initiative jointly launched by Mastercard and GNTO.
