Larry Ellison, co-founder of Oracle, well-known American information technology company based in Austin - Texas, has acquired the Florida's Eau Palm Beach Resort Manalapan for an undisclosed amount by Lewis Trust Group, owner of the accommodation since 2003.

This resort renamed by Ritz-Carlton as Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa in 2013 and is a member of the Preferred Hotels Legend Collection boasts 309 luxurious rooms, eight dining options, a 42,000-square-foot Eau Spa, three tennis courts, two swimming pools and more than 30,000 square feet of meeting and event space.

Larry Ellison will retain the current team and is planning to invest in future ownership upgrades.

Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa General Manager Tim Nardi enthusiastically stated that the acquisition of the resort by the Ellison Family, who possess extensive experience in luxury hospitality will bring a new level of innovation to the resort, with confidence that this transition will enhance unique experiences while also introducing new amenities and services, allowing Eeau Palm Beach Resort & Spa to remain a premier destination.

This resort joins Sensei Lanai, Nobu Ryokan Malibu, Four Seasons Lanai, Nobu Hotel Palo Alto, Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe, and Sensei Porcupine Creek to Larry Ellison's portfolio.

London-based Lewis Trust Group by Director Simon Lewis commented that the family feels privileged to have been successful part of the Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa story even if they regret ending the tenure, gratified in the knowing that Larry Ellison will treasure the resort and guide its hoteliers to even higher heights.
