A new General Law on Tourism has been promulgated by the Government of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, also known as Lula da Silva, current President of Brazil, with which the South American country continues with commitment to generate new constructive actions in relation to tourism to strengthen the market.
The Brazilian government led by Lula da Silva has developed and promulgated this new law with the primary objective of creating optimal conditions for low-income people to have access to and the right to travel.
The president during the signing ceremony at the government house of the capital of the country Brasilia in relation to all this declared that it is up to the State to guarantee the conditions of transport, the routes and the competitive prices.
This new general law on tourism will allow airlines to access through subsidized financing the resources of FNAC, the National Civil Aviation Fund with a sum of 8 million reais used to expand and renew the air fleet and subsidize the fuel of aircraft traveling to the states of the Amazon
The financial aid will be useful and can be used by the airlines for the development, for the use of renewable fuels and also encouraging the use of clean fuels in regional aviation for ecotourism destinations.
The Ministry of Ports and Airports has stated that the resources will be transformed into improvements to improve the quality of tourism and the passenger experience.
The President then stressed that comfortable routes must be guaranteed at competitive prices allowing people from all walks of life to be able to travel, and this law was promulgated to build good foundations for the entrepreneur who invests in the tourism sector and for the consumer who will grow the tourism industry.
.With this law, in addition to benefiting the sectors most in need, there will be specific and optimal measures that will reduce the bureaucracy for the creation of companies in that sector and promote public investment and also encourage the use of clean fuels in regional aviation for ecotourism destinations.
Another important note concerns the signing of an agreement between the Brazilian Government and the United Nations Tourism for the installation of an office in Rio de Janeiro to promote tourism in the South American country and as a driving force to present the offers of other places in Latin America and the Caribbean.
