Ryanair | Rates Down between 5 and 9%

Ryanair, renowned Irish ultra low – coast carrier group with its headquarters in Swords and Dublin – Republic of Ireland recently held the carrier's shareholders' meeting in which the company's CEO David O' Leary illustrated the not particularly positive situation with data that express a consumption trend that is not the best and the great exploit of travel that in today's times seems to be slowing down.

According to Il Sole 24 Ore, the Italian financial newspaper owned by Confindustria based in Milan, the estimated and quantified drop in prices for the summer quarter between 5 and 9%, although lower than initial forecasts, which would seem destined to remain even during the winter season, should lead to a drop in yield that would not reach double digits.

The problems of the low cost in any case do not only concern margins and fares but the issue regarding to the deliveries of planes remains on the agenda that slows down the eagerness for development and growth of Ryanair, an obstacle that seems to have no end at the moment and that must also face the strike at Boeing.
