Umbria | €35 Million Investment to Strengthen the Tourism Industry

 

Umbria, splendid, central italian region rich in art, history and culture bordering Tuscany, Lazio and Le Marche often called the country's green heart, known for its medieval hills towns, remarkable architecture, classic roman remains and dense forests after a positive summer level of incoming tourism aims to strengthen the local supply chain of the tourism industry.

The region has launched five new calls aimed at the growth and development of the regional tourism sector, notices that were officially presented on 25th September by the President of the Umbria Region Donatella Tesei and the Councilor for Tourism Paola Agabiti.

As reported by Ansa.it, well-known agency dedicated to information and the issuance of news regarding economics, politics, sport, culture from Italy and all over the world, these calls will support the redevelopment of accommodation facilities, historic houses and the open air segment.

In addition to all that, there will be actions purely dedicated to improving the attractiveness of the regional territory by making investments of about €35 million available to companies and destinations.
