The Eco  Guest House de San Martin, is a new eco-lodge developed on the magnificent highlands of Guatemala, central American country south of Mexico, a land which is also home of stunning rainforests, volcanoes, ancient Mayan sites, suggestive villages, captivating towns boasting, splendid colonial buildings with a suggestive countryside highlighted by coffee fields.

The accommodation provides 12 spacious rooms, all with private bathrooms with running hot water, pressurized hot showers and heaters in the rooms.

Unlike many accommodations in the region, the Eco – Guest House de San Martin offers high-speed Wi-Fi and has been given a 5-star rating by Airbnb guests.

The Eco-Guest House is equipped to accommodate a wide variety of guests, from individual travellers to small groups and offers additional services such as organization of banquets, transport arrangements and cultural activities designed to enhance the guest experience.

The Guest House is also a sustainability model designed to have a minimal environmental impact by using solar energy and rainwater harvesting to reduce its dependence on local resources while an on-site biodigester takes care of waste management to protect local streams and rivers.

These programs include teaching English to local children, cooking classes, art projects, math and computer tutoring, knitting, and building chicken coops.
