Vietnam | New Air Connections Significantly Increase Tourism Growth

 

Vietnam, a country located on the Indochinese Peninsula at the eastern edge of mainland Southeast Asia, characterized by its pristine beaches, bustling cities with lively markets, fishing villages, small centres along the Red River Delta and the Mekong river, with a rich cultural and historical heritage highlighted by decorated building and ornate Buddhist pagodas thanks to the opening of two new strategic international air connections is experiencing a significant increase tourism growth with severarl arrivals of international visitors in the country that this year has already exceeded 12.7 million visitors.

A route connecting the coastal city of Nha Trang in the central province of Khanh Hoa, coastal resort city in southern Vietnam famous detination for its pristine beaches, diving sites and nicknamed the seafood capital with Daegu, an important city situated in South Korea, the third largest urban agglomeration in the southeast territory has just started operations from the low-coast airline Vietjet,  entered the market a few years ago and known as the first privately owned airline to be established in the country.

This brand new connection between Nha Trang and Daegu will have one daily round - trip flight and in addition to other 12 flights operated by Vietjet between Vietnamese and South Korean Cities which almost 11 million passengers have been transported in the last decade, and undoubtedly with the importance of a highly populated center like Daegu the connectivity with this Korean city will bring even more tourists to Vietnam.
