The TPA, Taxa de Presevação Ambiental is a key source of funding for the island's conservation efforts, environmental monitoring, and infrastructure maintenance, helping to ensure responsible tourism practices and supporting initiatives aimed at protecting the unique ecosystem found on Fernando de Noronha.

The fee is charged individually and can be paid online, on the official website, on arrival or when boarding.

For visitors with a credit card issued outside Brazil, this fee can only be paid at the counter at Fernando de Noronha Airport.
