Thailand | Implementation of a New Digital Arrival Card to Speed Up Tourist Entry Procedures

Thailand, a very demanded destination in Southeast Asia, offering a large variety of options of tourism in every segment such as sun, sea, watersports, adventure, cultural, historic and gastronomic tours, festivals and events is managing the implementation of a new digital arrival card to speed up tourist entry procedures expected to be fully operational on 1st May 2025.

The Ministry of Tourism and Sports has introduced TDAC, Thailand's Digital Arrival Card also known as the "TM.6 online' system", to simplify entry procedures for tourists reducing immigration processing times and improving efficiency in arrival management replacing the TM.6 paper form.

The TDAC system is integrated with relevant agencies such as the Department of Consular Affairs, the Department of Disease Control and the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, to ensure smooth, complete, and efficient data verification.

To Promote the TDAC system and ensure its dissemination worldwide, the Immigration Bureau has developed information materials in five languages such as, English, Chinese, Korean, Rusian and Japanese and these measures will help tourists understand and use the system correctly.

With this improvement, travellers can register and submit their personal information in advance through the digital platform, making their arrival in Thailand smoother and faster.
