The Garden Toscana Resort located in the charming town of San Vincenzo, a well-known seaside destination on the Etruscan Coast in the Province of Livorno entered into an agreement of collaboration with the Val di Cornia Parks with operations and a program focused on territorial enhancement.
The objectives between the two entities born with the primary objective of making known on a large scale the historical, cultural and natural heritage of the Etruscan civilization in a geographical area which is the cradle of that ancient population with a program will begin in June and will continue throughout the entire summer.
The Val di Cornia Parks Society has always been dedicated to the cultural, environmental and tourist enhancement of the territory and in particular of the parks and museums located in the province of Livorno which include the Archaeological Museum of Piombino, the centre of Populonia and the Archaeological Park of Baratti.
The Garden Toscana Resort is the largest garden village in Italy and this collaboration is aimed at increasing incoming tourism with activities focused on experimental archaeology laboratories in the Archaeology Park of Baratti and Populonia.
The aim is also to increase the interest of the visitors towards the value of the Etruria as destination entering deeply into the centuries-old history of this geographical area cradle of a civilization that was present even before the advent of the Roman Empire.
This proposal is highly interesting for the content of the program, a superb educational action to show and highlighting furthermore a land full of a significant, secular history unique in its kind.
