Israel, country in the Southern Levant region of West Asia bathed by the Mediterranean Sea, a land in the Middle East which offer a plethora of historical and religious sites, beach resorts, natural sites, archaeological tourism, heritage tourism, adventure tourism and ecotourism presented its best wine collections as part of the first wine event, "L'Chaim, Discover Israeli wine" held in December 2024 with the intention to promote its wine tourism abroad.
This iniatitive took place in the Israeli embassy in Manila, the capital of the Philippines, where the Ministry of Tourism of Israel Haim Katz and the Ministry of Economy and Industry joined forces to showcase Israel as a premier destination for wine enthusiasts and to engage Filipino wine distributions in the exploration of Israeli wines.
The Minister of Tourism detailed in local media that in Jewish culture, wine means much more than a drink, it symbolizes knowledge, friendship, brotherhood and the opening of new forms of connection between people and in addition highlighting the attractiveness of Israel as a unique tourist destination particularly for Christian travellers.
The Ambassador of Israel in the Philippines described the importance of the event in fostering connection, explaining that his vision has always been to build bridges of innovation and technology between Israel and the Philippines.
Bringing an evening like this to Manila has been a dream come true and "L'Chaim, Discover Israeli wine" is more than a toast, it's a celebration of life, friendship and the bright future, the countries are building together.
