Cuba | The e-Visa Streamlines the Procedures for Travellers to Enter the Country

Cuba, multicultural, largely urban nation, with a history reflected in its art, food, language and most of all, its music, the largest island in the Caribbean Sea which stretches 1.200 kilometres from east to west, highlighted by numerous, idyllic beaches, high mountains and rolling hills covering about one – third of the country, lowland plains used mainly for farming boasting luxury,  holiday resorts and hotels next to superb golf courses will allow an easier procedure to speed up the operations for the tourists who have decided to travel to the Caribbean nation, providing an internet site and streamlining the e- Visa procedures to enter  the country

This fast procedure allows to complete from home the online traveller form to enter the country and  the Cuban Ministry of Tourism, the Commercial Director Giana Galindo Enriquez reported that as of 30^th June, the tourist card that has coexisted with the electronic visa since July 2024 will disappear, making the telematic route the only one available to enter Cuba.

The Commercial Director has highlighted the convenience of this modality, informing that, at the request of many tourists, the temporary mobile phone lines, a product created by CubaCel Tur, can be obtained for seven days and not for thirty as thet were enabled until now, since it has been taken into account that the average stay of a visitor on Cuban soil ranges between five and six days.

For the Commercial Director, Cuba continues to be the preference of many tourists, a very competitive destination in the Caribbean region, not only for its stunning beaches, but for its cultural, historical, heritage values, the hospitality of the people, their friendliness and joy.
