The history of this "Casa Palacio" is highly interesting, the building was owned by the Marquises of Nervión, noble and wealthy Sevillian family, part of the high Andalusian society who established multiple cotton plantations and it is considered one of the 25 Palace Houses that currently exist in the Andalusian capital, stately residences built by prosperous families during the Spanish Golden Age and privileged examples of Sevillian civil architecture.

This unique palace was owned by the Dowager Marchioness of Nervión,Maria Mónica de Arteche y González – Careaga, a grandee of Spain and lady to Queen Victoria Eugenia,and it was part of the noble scene of high society events in Seville.

This Sevillian aristocrat of Basque origin lived in this house - palace until her death in 1986 and without descendants, her last wish was to donate her residence to rhe Red Cross, of which she was honorary president and with she contributed notably by organizing charity parties and dances.

The most special suite of this stylish palace is the Marqusa Suite located on the first floor overlooking the romantic courtyard of the house - palace and it has a capacity of up to 4 people, paying tribute to its former owner, that was once the Marquise's private room and it is now a truly unique suite that writes a chapter in the history of Seville's aristocracy.

The original architectural details - marble on the floors and frescoes painted on the ceiling and the interior design were greatly preserved and the interior design in a contemporary luxury key define today the personality of this historic and superb Sevillian suite.
