To get Nuquí there are two access routes, since the presence of watercourses, the dense vegetation and the swampy terrain due to heavy rains make land access impossible, by sea although there is no river access, there is a maritime access from Buenaventura, famous coastal seaport city in the Pacific Region of the department of Valle del Cauca, with a journey that takes eight hours by speedboat, or from Bahia Solano, with a two hours journey also by speedboat.

Nuquí has the Reyes Murillo Airport, which receive charter flights from Bogotá, Medellin and Quidbó, allowing travellers to admire during the flight this paradise taking an immediate inspiration by observing the panoramic views of the stunning Darien Jungle. a 96 kilometres stretch of rainforest straddling the Colombia - Panama border.
