Hard Rock International, one of the most globally recognized companies based in Orlando, Florida, U.S. with venues established in several countries across the world that include owned licensed or managed Hotels, Casinos, Rock Shops®, Cafes and Hard Rock Live concert Halls is planning a future opening of a new hotel and residences in Ras Al Khaimah.
Ras Al Khaimah is the largest city and capital of the Emirate with the same name in the U.A.E., located in the northwestern part of the country along the coast of the Persian Gulf, a centre that is the successor to the Islamic era port and trading hub of Julfar, which formed a key element in the Arab trading networks since medieval times.
Hard Rock International announced a collaboration for this development with HR Hotel FZ LLC, a joint venture between Malta based db Group, owner and operator of two major all - inclusive resorts in Malta and boasting a diverse portfolio of restaurants and RAK Hospitality Holding, a leading hospitality group based in Ras Al Khaimah, with its subsidiary RAK National Hotels owning and managing hotels and resorts in the upper - upscale and luxury segments, to establish Hard Rock Hotel & Residences Ras Al Khaimah.
The Hard Rock Hotel & Residences Al Khaimah marks db Group's first major venture outside Malta, expanding its presence in the hospitality sector.
The complex is scheduled to open in 2028 and the development will be located in Ras al Khaimah's Beach District, a popular area along the Arabian Gulf, known for its stunning beaches, home to many high-end resorts and upscale hotels that encompasses AL Marjan Island, a man - made archipelago boasting 7.8 kilometres of pristine beaches.
The district also includes other beach areas and attractions like Flamingo Beach, known for its relaxed atmosphere and spectacular sunset views and offering a range of amenities and experiences, including spa treatments, fine dining and family – friendly activities.
The property will feature approximately 300 hotel rooms and 395 brand residences. Amenities in the complex will include restaurants, a rooftop bar, conferences facilities, an event venue, a beach club, swimming pools, a spa and fitness centre. The project is expected to create around 500 permanent jobs.
