Marriott International, American multinational hospitality company based in Bethesda, Maryland has signed an agreement to develop a St. Regis resort and branded residences in Bodrum, Türkiye, a renowned seaside town and district of Muğla Province located on a scenic peninsula and stretching Türkiye’s southwest coast into the Aegean Sea, a popular destination offering a mix of historical sites, beautiful beaches, a charming atmosphere and a vibrant nightlife.
The development is an agreement with Kuzu Group, an active company operates in the construction, infrastructure, water, wastewater, tourism, health, retail, shopping mall and textile sectors headquartered in Istanbul and will mark Marriott International’s 100th hotel in Türkiye.
This project is scheduled to open in 2030 and represents the second collaboration between Marriott International and Kuzu Group, a partnership which also involves Servotel, a leading consultancy in global hospitality & real estate development based in Istanbul, following the opening of the JW Marriott Hotel Istanbul Marmara Sea in 2022.
The resort and residences will be located in the secluded enclave of Kazikli Cove area will occupy a 280.000 - square metre site, providing access to beaches and stunning Aegean Sea views.
The St. Regis Karya Cove Resort - The property is expected to feature 138 rooms and several dining options. Plans for the resort also include indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a fitness centre, a kids club, a spa and event spaces.
The Residences at the St. Regis Karya Cove Resort - The residential complex will comprise 221 apartments and villas, ranging in size from one to five bedrooms. The complex will offer a range of amenities, including a lounge, media room, exhibition kitchen, co - working spaces, a library, private fitness studios, and a swimming pool.
The development will enter in the St. Regis brand which features a timeless, modern luxury positioning with a focus on exclusive experiences, luxurious amenities and delivering personalized service through its signature St.Regis Butler Service and signature rituals like the Bloody Mary and Afternoon Tea.
