An agreement has also been signed that formalises the collaboration between both institutions establishing that the SRTVNL will be the entity in charge of the production of the content and CODETUR managing the installation of the plaques with QR codes in the tourist places.
The FIFA 2026 World Cup is going to be a historic event for Nuevo León not only for the relevance of this sport tournament but represents a great occasion to promote itself as a global destination showcasing its enviable cultural and gastronomic diversity, stunning architecture, natural beauties and fascinating history that deserves to be narrated.
After a meeting with the directors of SRTVNL and CODETUR it was established that the content of the audio capsules highlighting the initiative "Revive Nuevo León" will be prepared by local historians and chroniclers from the municipalities of the Mexican state, who will be in charge of selecting and narrating the most relevant historical topics contributing with their knowledge and experience will choose relevant themes for the promotion of the destination.
The Director of the SRTVNL, Roberta Carrillo Zambrano and the Head od CODETUR, Alejandra Morales Mariscal, reported that this program is aligned with the government's priority of taking advantage of the tourist flow generated by the World Cup to position Nuevo León as a first - class destination.
