Hyatt Hotels Corporation | Launched a New Caption by Hyatt Hotel in Tokyo, Marking the Brand’s Second Location in Japan

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has launched a new Caption Hyatt hotel in Tokyo, the capital and largest city of Japan located in the Nionbashi Kabutocho, area  a neighbourhood that is home to the the Japan Exchange Group including the  Tokyo Stock Exchange and many securities companies are located, so that it is considered Japan ‘s equivalent of Wall Street in New York City,  a destination that blends historic mercantilism with modern revitalization through cafes, restaurants, shops, unique hotels and architectural landmarks such as the historic Nihonbashi Bridge.

The opening of the Caption by Hyatt Kabutocho Tokyo marks the brand’s second location in Japan, a brand which was introduced in 2022 joining other Caption by Hyatt properties in Osaka, Shanghai and Nashville. 

Caption by Hyatt hotels provide upscale accommodations with the efficiency and flexibility of select - service while offering a vibrant and welcoming space for visitors and locals alike, inviting guests in with cozy rooms and common areas that are flexible enough to move things around and make the space uniquely theirs.

The hotel is located at 12 - 1 Nihonbashikabutoko, steps away from Kayabacho and Nihonbashi subway stations, providing easy access to Tokyo Station, Marunochi, and Ginza, as well as connections to Haneda and Narita airports.

The property features 195 comfortable guestrooms, with sizes ranging from 236 to 581 square feet and suites equipped with in - room washer/dryers.The design of the rooms is inspired by the local Kabutocho neighbourhood, incorporating themes such as “Bridge”, “Community”, Old & New” and “Future”. 

The interior design was led by Melbourne based Interior Architecture & Design Studio, Mitchell & Eades, an Australian firm that combines timeless sophistication with a contemporary vision of human experiences that drew on traditional Japanese crafts and the historical significance of the Kabutocho area

The Caption by Hyatt Kabutocho Tokyo features Talk Shop, an all - day social space designed for dining, working, and socializing. The space offers a menu featuring options such as craft burgers and plant - based dishes, along with beverages like custom - blend coffee and craft beers. In addition Talk Shop hosts cultural programs, including workshops and jazz nights, open to both guests and the public.

Amenities at the hotel also include a fitness centre, self - service check - in, complimentary Wi -Fi and TV streaming.

The hotel also emphasized sustainability, having been awarded the DBJ Green Building Certification, a certification system that was established in 2011 as an initiative to support its customers’ environmentally and socially conscious management of their real estate, recognizing its commitment to environmental sustainability and community well – being.

The building was constructed using a hybrid timber and steel structure to reduce its carbon footprint and its operations include refillable water stations and a reduction in single - use plastics.
