Meliá Hotels International | Paradisus by Meliá to Debut in Southeast Asia with a Bali Hotel Conversion

Meliá Hotels International, hotel chain founded in 1956 and headquartered in Palma de Mallorca, Spain is set to introduce its luxury brand, Paradisus to Southeast Asia, with a Bali hotel conversion.

The company's first hotel outside of Spain, Meliá Bali, is currently transforming into a Paradisus by Meliá Bali, a renovation which aims to enhance the guest experience by introducing a unique and exclusive concept.

The new property intends to move beyond the traditional all – inclusive concept and it will focus on guest immersion in the local culture and promote holistic well - being, offering daily exclusive experiences both within and outside the property.

Paradisus by Meliá is a luxury brand focused on creating a destination – inclusive experience, emphasizing cultural immersion, holistic well - being and a deep connection to the surrounding environment. The Paradisus by Meliá hotels  aim to provide guests with a stress - free, safe escape with also allowing them to fully explore and appreciate the destination's natural beauty and cultural heritage.

The new sophisticated hotel expected to open in December 2025 is set on 11 hectares of tropical gardens located in a tranquil area, 2 kilometres from Bali National Golf Club and 12 km from Ngurah Rai International Airport.

The property will feature 485 luxury suites and seven villas, eight new restaurants offering upscale global cuisine, 12 different locations where guests can enjoy premium beverages, four pools nestled amongst tropical lagoons and gardens, distinct spaces tailored to different types of travellers to cater to diverse guest preferences.

The Reserve, an adults - only area will offer elevate service, exclusive privileges, ad refined facilities, while The Family Concierge will provide a luxury experience designed for families, complete with personalized service and curated amenities. 

The YHI Spa will be one of the great highlights of Paradisus by Meliá offering diverse treatments in a peaceful setting, a redesigned spa that will provide 12 treatment rooms in a lush garden and a circuit pool with a dedicated relaxation area.
