Iberostar | Most Awarded Hotel Group for Cuba Destination at the Travellers' Choice Awards 2024

 

Iberostar Group, famous Spanish multinational company dedicated to the hospitality and tourism industry, based in Palma de Mallorca, founded in 1986 by the Fluxá family distinguished itself with the excellence of the destination division Iberostar Hotels & Resorts Cuba at the Travellers' Choice Awards 2024 achieving twelve titles, five of which in the "best of the best" category.

The Iberostar Marketing Director in Cuba declared that Iberostar Cuba is changing its chromatic range with the intention of continuing to grow on the Caribbean island, loyal to the group's philosophy of always including values based on quality, which are elements that make us differentiate the group from others.

These awards are confirmation off all that, and although the group does not not work to collect awards, they are undoubtedly an incentive that helps to improve.

Iberostar Cuba operates 18 hotels on the Caribbean island in the main tourist centers of the country, the capital Havana and Varadero are the keys and spearhead of the central-northern area with Trinidad and towards the coast of Holguín.

In the local media, the Marketing Director of Iberostar Cuba then commented that the strategy of segmentation by regions is for the reason that the classic tourist wants to experience Cuba in its entirety. Those who have never been to Cuba can travel through Havana – Varadero and those travelers who have already come several times can choose the Varadero – Cayos option and route while the more ambitious tourist preferentially heads to a tour that starts from the capital to Santiago de Cuba.

One of the primary objectives is the intention to market Cuba as a different destination that offers various options, alternatives that go beyond the usual standards and on these aspects that the group's campaign focuses

Some emphasizing sentences linked to the destination and the experience  "If the beach is your passion, welcome, "if the city is your passion, welcome", if both are your passion, welcome to Iberostar Cuba", extremely significant mottos that say and convey a lot, very deep and marked concepts that undoubtedly inspire.

If customers visit the Caribbean they will mainly see sun, sea and beach while if they visit Cuba they will appreciate what it means to combine, a very eloquent message that underlines what Cuba offers as a destination.

The Marketing Director then underlined how the group has updated the color range with the rebranding that significantly accentuates the spirit, identity, tone and rhythm of Cuba that identifies itself differently from the rest of the hotels that are included in the multinational portfolio worldwide.

 Iberostar has the Grand marked by the pink color that identifies with the Pacific Ocean and  probably the flagship in Cuba that frames the highest level hotels and in the Grand-Packard and Trinidad stands out the presence of a highly specialized consulting service with butlers who assist and above all personalize the service.
