The Ritz - Carlton Hotel Company, LLC | Unveiled the Officlal Opening of a New Hotel in Wuhan, China

The Ritz - Carlton Hotel Company, LLC, a hospitality group founded in 1983 that operate the luxury hotel chain known as The Ritz - Carlton and currently a subsidiary of Marriott International, American multinational hospitality company headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, has unveiled the official opening of a new hotel in Wuhan, the sprawling capital of Central China’s Hubei province,  a relevant commercial centre divided by the Yangtze and Han rivers.

Wuhan, is a major industrial and transportation hub located on the Yangtze River, known as the the “throughfare of nine provinces”, famously recognized for the historic Yellow Crane Tower, extensive education system (largest student population in China), high - speed rail network, and its cuisine, highlighted by  the iconic “re ga mian” Hot Dry noodles.

The Ritz - Carlton, Wuhan, the brand’s first hotel in central China, marking the continued expansion in China’s luxury accommodation market was - co designed by KCA International, a premier London - founded interior design firm specializing in luxury hospitality, residential, and corporate projects globally, and Cheng Chung Design, a one - stop art consultancy group headquartered in Hong Kong that offers creative to production solutions for global luxury properties. 

The hotel is located at 1 Jingwu Road in the beating heart of Jianghan District in the Yuexin Global Financial Center Tower, a 330 - metre - high building in Wuhan’s Hankou area within a commercial and retail district at the junction of the Yangtze and Han rivers, about 10 - kilometres drive from attractions such as Yellow Crane Tower,  Lake Scenic Area and Jianghan Road.

The property features 204 comfortable rooms and suites, all situated on the 48th floor and above, offering stunning river or city skyline views.

The Ritz - Carlton Suite measures 270 square metres and includes expanded living spaces. Club Level rooms and suites provide access to the Ritz – Carlton Club on the 58th floor, which offers check - in, concierge services, cultural immersion sessions, and five daily presentations with in addition the Ritz Kids program available for families.

 Dining options at the Ritz - Carlton, Wuhan include four venues: Brasserie 46 for all - day international dining, The Lobby Lounge for afternoon tea and evening cocktails, with an outdoor terrace, Chu Yao Xuan for Cantonese cuisine, and FLAIR, the hotel’s rooftop bar.

 Additional amenities at the hotel include a 25 - metre indoor heated swimming pool, a 24 - hour fitness centre, the Ritz - Carlton Spa on the 58th floor with four treatment rooms offering spa and facial treatments. The spa features the Jingchu Five - Element Tea Therapy, which incorporates tea - infused rituals and massage techniques.

 The hotel provides over 1.300 square metres of event space, including a pillarless Grand Ballroom and pre - function areas for events and business occasions.

 At the Ritz - Carlton, Wuhan a ceremonial tasting is held each evening at sunset in the sky lobby, accompanied by chimes inspired by ancient bronze bells from the Chu Kingdom, an ancient Chinese state during the Zhou dynasty.

 The property joins the Ritz -  Carlton premier global luxury hotel brand operated by Marriott International, renowned for its “gold standard” of service and elegant accommoidations. The brand emphasizes personalized, anticipatory service under the motto “ We are Ladies and Gentlemen serving Ladies and Gentlemen.
