Embratur - Sebrae | Partnership for a New Strategic Marketing Plan to Promote Tourism in Brazil Abroad

 

Embratur, known as the Brazilian Tourist Board, federal, state - owned specialist agency reporting to the Brazilian Ministry of Tourism operating on the promotion, marketing and supporting to the trading of services, products and tourist destinations of Brazil abroad and Sebrae organization that works ro encourage enterepeneurship, holding fairs, business round, developing content, tools, including consultancy, courses and training, primarily for micro and small entrepreneurs, working together on a new marketing document focused on promoting Brazil as a tourist destination abroad.

This established partnership is focused on a new project is part of the changes that have taken place in the international tourism scene in recent years, including the promotion of the 27 states that make up the South American country.

The first stage of this strategic plan will be focused on listening to all those who make tourism successful such as public and private managers, the tourism agency, workers in the industry of tourism, researchers and businesspeople.

Linked to that Embratur already analyzed that in occasion of the last edition of the Abav Expo, the largest and most important trade and tourism fairs in Brazil focused on bringing together the entire tourist chain playing an important role in transforming agents of the sector.

The main mission of the research is to define the objectives and strategies that must be aligned with the National Tourism Plan 2024 - 2027 and the Embratur Strategic Plan 2024 - 2027.

Embratur will also present the initial proposals of the Marketing Plan and the International Tourism Promotion Plans of the Brazilian States.

A further key milestone will take place between January and April 2025 when Embratur will prepare the regionalized plans with an operational launch scheduled for May, with meetings to be held throughout the year in the federative units on local plans.

This document will translate Brazil's strategy for the promotion of the country abroad for the period from 2025 to 2028.

Bound to all that, it is going to take into account international travel demand and benchmarking studies which is the comparison of the international promotion methodology of Brazilian products and Brazil with those from other markets.

However, the main objective is aimed at strengthening the inflow of international visitors and foreign exanchange in the country.

The President of Embratur, Marcelo Freixo commented that in recent decades the world has changed and above all, the profile of international tourist has also changed, therefore Brazil's new International Tourism Marketing Plan is a vision and a commitment to the future.

Facing all that with efforts the primary objective to achieve is to position Brazil in the international tourist panorama with innovation, creativity and more Brazilianness.
