Four Seasons Hotels Limited, trading as Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, a luxury hotel and resort firm based in Toronto, Canada, a group which transformed the hospitality industry by combining personalized, genuine care with a commitment to excellence in service and accurate details, has unveiled plans to develop 75 private residences on Shura Island, also known as Shurayrah, a resort island with a natural dolphin shape in the Red Sea coast of Tabuk province, a mega - project that is being constructred on a 92 - island archipelago off Saudi Arabia’s western coastline.
Shura Island is accessible via the Red Sea International Airport, a 25 - minute electric vehicle drive from the the Four Seasons complex, offers flights from major cities including Doha, Dubai, Jeddah, and Riyadh and is part of a larger tourism initiative in the Red Sea region that focuses on sustainable development.
The development in partnership with Red Sea Global, a vertically integrate and real estate developer based in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, boasting a diverse portfolio across tourism, residential, experiences, infrastructure, transport, healthcare, and services is part of the Red Sea tourism project in the Saudi Kingdom.
The project is scheduled to welcome residents in 2026 and emphasizes sustainable practices, with renewable energy powering the site and plans for marine protected areas.
The complex will feature 75 residences, consisting of 43 Dune Villas, and 32 Waterside Villas which will be situated between the Four Seasons Resort and Shura Links, an 18 - hole golf course on the island offering direct access to the Red Sea and are designed to integrate with the surrounding environment.
The architectural design is by Fosters + Partners, a global studio for sustainable architecture, urbanism, engineering and design founded by Norman Foster in 1967 and based in London, England, England, UK.
The interior design will be led by Goddard Littlefair, a London - based luxury interior design house, with international expertise and a global portfolio, established in 2012, working in hotel, spa and hospitality design as well as multi - residential developments and high – end owner - occupier residences and the villas will incorporate materials such as marble and limestone.
The villas development will include three - to – five - bedroom villas ranging in size from 414 to 534 square metres. Each villa will feature private infinity pools and terraces.
Residents will have access to a Four Seasons - operated clubhouse that include a restaurant, a pool and a fitness fitness facility.
Residences are currently available for private reservations.
