The 24th edition of Bangkok's main gastronomic event World Gourmet Festival will take place from 04 to 10th September 2024, an event organized by the Anantara Siam Hotel Bangkok which this year will have as guests 16 world-renowned chefs who will share a total of 30 Michelin stars protagonists alongside bartenders from the 50 best bars in the Asian continent and in the world.
The start of the festival will be celebrated with a six-course gala dinner prepared by one of the chefs of the Gourmet Mundial Festival in the exclusive restaurants of the Anantara Siam Hotel, Bangkok with the presence of master chefs of the year from Belgium, France, Hong Kong, Italy, Portugal, Scotland, Singapore and Taipei.
An important highlight will be the presence Wei Loon Tan, world champion pastry chef in Malaysia, who will lead afternoon tea sessions showing his mastery of modern French pastry, the art of sugar and chocolate displays.
A portion of every dinner ticket sold and proceeds from the auctions that will take place during the World Gourmet Festival will be donated to the Rajavithi – Girl's Home Welfare Foundation which provides quality education, health care and training for disadvantaged girls in Thailand.
As an extension of the festival's main programme on 27 and 28 September, the property; twins of Anantara Siam in Chiang Mai and Anantara's signature dinner cruise in Bangkok, Loy Pela Voyages will host exclusive dinners with two renowned chefs such as Enrico Marmo of Balzi Rossi who will present his interpretation of Italian cuisine at the Anantara Chiang Mai Resort and the Portuguese master Louis Anjos who will offer a unique culinary vision at Loy Pela Voyages.
