IHCL -The Indian Hotels Company | Announced the Signing of a Taj Hotel in Mysore, India

 

IHCL, the Indian Hotels Company, famed Indian hospitality company founded in 1902 and headquartered in Mumbai, part of Tata Group boasting a large portfolio of Hotels across the country has announced the signing of a Taj Hotel, in Mysore, famous city in India's southwestern Karnataka state at the foothills of the Chamundi Hills, a centre known for its heritage structures, palaces and its culture and for that called "The Heritage City" and "The City of Palaces", this destination draws tourists worldwide and it is  one of the cleanest cities in the country according to the notorious the Swachh Suverkshan, the survey that is carried out by the Quality Council of India.

The operation was managed in collaboratrion with DM South India Hospitality Pvt Ltd, a Private Limited Company providing hospitality operations, camping sites and other provision of short - stays accommodation services with registered office in New Dehli.

The Taj Mysore Hotel is nestled in the foot of Chamundi Hills and overlooking the Mysore Palace also known as Amba Vilas Palace, histortically used to be the official residence of the Wadiyar dynasty and the seat of the Kingdom of Mysore, centrally located near the Mall of Mysore.

The hotel, a regal Indo - Saracenic experience blending with the city's historical architecture features 114 rooms, a variety of culinary experiences, including an all – day dining restaurant, specialty restaurant, and lounge, a bar, a spa, gym, and swimming pool and in addition banqueting srea of over 11.000 square feet, ideal for hosting corporate and social events.

The Executive Vice President of IHCL,Ms. Suma Venkatesh, highlighted that the move reflects the company's commitment to expanding the Taj Brand in key markets across India, owing the Mysore's growing presence as a diversified hospitality market.

DM South India Hospitality Pvt Ltd, the partner in this venture expressed delight at growing in association with IHCL and through its Director Mr. Sshen Mohan Gupta expressed confidence that Taj Mysore will cater to the increasing demand for luxury hospitality and elevate the tourism potential of the destination while the Goup's Manager Utkarsh Munot emphasized the partnership's potential to create lasting impressions on their guests.

The addition of this hotel increases IHCL's presence in Karnataka state to 23 hotels, including 10 under development, a strategic expansion in an area with a relevant, growing tourist demand.
