IHG Hotels & Resorts | Announced its First Vignette Collection Properties in France

IHG, InterContinental Hotels Group, marketed as IHG Hotels & Resorts, famous British multinational company established in 2003 and headquartered in Windsor, Berkshire, England, UK, a leading group boasting several brands and a large portfolio of establishments located all around the world has announced is first Vignette Collection properties in France, concretely in the picturesque town of Théoule sur Mer,  a centre in the Alpes - Maritimes Department in the Provence - Alpes - Côte d' Azur region along the idyllic French Riviera to east of the scenic Esterel Massif, a stunning Mediterranean coastal mountain range of 32.000 hectares, nearly half of which are classified as "Natura 2000" areas.

This opening marks a major milestone for the brand's European expansion and a testament to its trusted partnership to luxury hospitality entering with this performing brand in a relevant market as France.

IHG Hotels & Resorts managed this strategic operation in partnership with GHR, Global Hotels & Resorts, company that provides hospitality, property management, consulting and investment services, with offices in London, England, UK and Schipol, the Netherlands.

The new addition will incorporate two properties such as the Tiara Miramar and Tiara Yaksta hotels, which will retain their unique charm and rich history, as well as, their distinctive character, while being enhanced under the Vignette Collection, luxury brand which provides guests and owners with an inspiring new range of choices to suit their needs.

Once opened in 2026, the hotels will join the rapidly family of unique independent hotels in the Vignette Collection increasing the already large lifestyle portfolio, representing the first installation in France and IHG's sixth luxury and lifestyle brand in the country.

The French properties will join an existing European presence of 10 open hotels including Verno House Budapest, Vignette and the Halyard Liverpool, Vignette Collection, both opened last year, and a global portfolio of more than 50 properties signed and under construction.

The planned opening underline the momentum that IHG's new luxury and lifestyle collection is experiencing, which is growing at a rapid pace, in just three years, the brand has surpassed half of its ambitious decade – long goal of attracting 100 hotels.

The future propertie will boast a stupendous location with incomparable views of the French Riviera and with the scenic presence of the Esterel Massif as a backdrop, offering a high standard of service, several pool, a fitness centre, a spa, a stylish bar, Michelin - starred restaurants, on - site meeting and event spaces for all occasions.

Future guests can expect not only the comfort, tranquillity and charm of the properties but also exclusive features such as as the iconic red rock beaches and the unique opportunity to enjoy a wide range of activities, from walking trails to water sports, trekking, sailing and excursions along the French Riviera.

The Vice President of Development Europe at IHG Hotels & Resorts Willemijn Geels said that the signing of the first Vignette Collection in France aligns perfectly with the company plans to grow luxury and lifestyle across Europe and the group focuses on accelerating the expansion of new brands in priority markets, including France, while establishing unique properties in sought - after urban and resort locations.
