The magnificent Golf Resort Club is a great 18 hole Golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus and it is an authentic diamond established to play that sport adjacent to the Hotel.

The U.S.A Golf Star from Columbus -Ohio who apart to have been the best player of the ranking for a long time and one the most celebrated champions all time as you know is also well known to be a prestigious designer of Golf Courses and Golf Club Le Robinie is undoubtedly one of his masterpieces in Italy for many reasons.

Firstly because it is immediately in front of the Hotel door, a feature which is highly and greatly appreciated by the customers who do not need to walk a lot. A second very positive positive point is that all around you will enjoy the presence of splendid huge forests and a very relaxing atmosphere is another main feature all the golfers love so much.

One of the most interesting attraction is the presence of a big number of bunkers, different gradients and simply observing the shape from the teeing ground to the hole,immediately every player consider that development is absolutely fantastic and made by someone who perfectly knows what is that Sport in all it essence, conception,spirit and soul.

Everywhere,changing corners and perspectives, all appears as painted, perfectly planned, the grass is perfect and always in a divine conditions,well cared in the minimum details as a green carpet to play not only Golf but also billiard.

In addition to the  the several destinations previously mentioned in the immediate surrounding you can also visit very interesting towns such as Legnano famous for its medieval Palio and Basilica of San Magno and  Busto Arsizio with its attractive historic centre with two gems as the Churches of Santa Maria and San Giovanni.

Saronno is another place very recommended, apart to be the city of that notorious liquor it is also the seat of the famed Sanctuary of the Beata Vergine dei Miracoli, one of the stunning Renaissance masterpieces in Italy boasting fantastic frescoes by a renowned master as Bernardino Luini. All those centres with an important historic past are located in an area denominated  Altomilanese  High Milanese for the geographic position immediately at north of Milan where you can admire  several Medieval,post Middle Ages,Baroque,Neo-Renaissance and Liberty buildings reflecting the active artistic life in different periods in that area.

That territory was also for a long time a triangle hub of the most relevant textile industries in Italy with exportation of their products abroad, they a good number of restaurants, bars and cinemas and they are ideal places for shopping thanks a large number of chic boutiques and trendy shops.

That land was furthermore famous in the 12th century when the Emperor Frederick I Barbarossa leading the troops of the Holy Roman Empire clashed against the Lombard League in which several towns and cities of Veneto, Lombardy, Piedmont and Emilia Romagna also supported by Genoa found an alliance defeating in Legnano the former King and Duke of Swabia.

The Hotel Le Robinie is located in that area called Insubria  simply beautiful for its hilly and picturesque landscapes but also for its considerable medieval history with a very rich patrimony.

 At just a few kilometres you can visit centres such as Castiglione Olona, with its charming borgo,  the iconic and beautiful Collegiata with the stunning frescoes by that genius called Masolino da Panicale and  Castelseprio with its Roman ruins and immediate surroundings are places which will surprise you. Notable are also the opportunities to practise outdoor activities such mountain bike and cycling thanks to the local hilly territory and the large presence of forests and woody spaces with dirt paths very challenging.

The municipalities of the Valle Olona in the last decade has developed a cycle trail running along the river with the same name reaching suggestive places flanked by green forests across the entire picturesque valley and also that is a notable attraction for all those who love cycle tourism.
