The charming and picturesque medieval city of Pistoia hosts from 5 to 7 October 2012 Festival of Medieval Tourism,Pistoia is one of the medieval jewels of Northern Tuscany and hosts this important event to show all the beauty of one of the most charming region of Italy.Many times we ca not imagine how many treasures of Medieval Romanesque and Etrurian art Tuscany has and often we only identify Tuscany as destination of Renaissance art.
It is a great occasions for TT.OO and who wants to discover more about tourism in Tuscany meeting new Italian destinations of tourist and cultural identity yet to be exploited. Attend the presentation of the offers of promo-marketing.This two days are completely dedicated to start to know deeply the medieval destinations in Tuscany.Exhibitors of the destinations and territories (institutional representatives of the medieval communes and the entities responsible for the promotion and tourism development planning); exhibitors of the re-enactments and historical games,such as companies, organisations, associations, groups that deal with historical re-enactment and games , rides, Palios, Festivals of recognised historical matrix. Presentations will be made by persons in charge of places of the Middle Ages with the support of interpreters. All offers of promo-marketing of exhibitors will be included in the Catalogue of -places of the Middle Ages. All other accredited visitors,will participate in the Workshop on the "Place of the Middle Ages."
Saturday, October 6: Appointments between exhibitors and Hosted Buyers.A day dedicated to meetings between exhibitors and tour operators international buyers.The meetings are intended to deepen the knowledge of the offer of exhibitors presented to the meeting points of the previous day and are managed through an agenda of short pre-scheduled appointments. Each exhibitor is guaranteed a minimum number of appointments. All other accredited visitors ( will participate in the Workshop on the "Place of the Middle Ages" - the second session of the workshop for visitors who could not attend on day 5.
