That trend to recognise a Pariolino was absorbed in more contemporary times in the metropolitan culture to describe someone for a determined attitude, spirit, including look as hairstyle and that denomination became a sort of nickname for people with a determined profile and a classified personality.

Apart all that the Parioli inspired in the past some writers and famous journalists who described that very special neighbourhood as the birthplace in its kind of a new trendy Rome very different than other places while for someone was an usual quarter to go out enjoying excellent theatre shows, fine Aperitivi and a dinner in stylish and fine restaurants.

Compared to the nearest quarters such as Pinciano,Tor di Quinto,Flaminio and Salario there is practically nothing in common despite the proximity.,it is like to be in different planets and the Parioli in its kind is as an island in itself,so different than those neighbourhoods grew all around its boundaries.
