Yerevan, the capital and largest city of Armenia located along the Hrazdan River and considered one of the oldest centers in the world will host the eighth edition of the United Nations Global Conference on Wine Tourism.
The main theme of this 2024 edition will be traditions under the motto "Heritage in every bottle: crafting authentic wine tourism experiences" where producers, experts and representatives of wine regions from all over the world will meet to talk and strengthen the links between wine, tourism and culture.
This meeting will be useful in the development of communication strategies with the primary objective of reaching a global audience.
The interim director of the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Armenia commented that she was honored that the country is hosting a conference of this level and that the thousand-year-old winemaking tradition alongside the country's rich cultural heritage is in a unique position to showcase innovative practices and exceptional wine culture.
