IHG Hotels & Resorts | Expansion in Japan with Three Crowne Plaza Brand Hotel Units

 

InterContinental Hotels Group marketed as IHG Hotels & Resorts, a famous British multinational hospitality company based in Windsor – Berkshire – England, listed on the London and New York Stock Exchange strengthens the presence of the Crowne Plaza Brand in Japan by adding three of the brand's hotels in the Asiatic country which already includes 20 accommodation.

Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts is a notorious British – American multinational chain of full service, providing upscale hotels that caters to the business, leisure and blended travel market usually located in city centres, resorts, coastal destinations or near major aiports, founded in 1983 and subsidiary of InterContinental Hotel Group.

IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed an agreement with Hotel Management International Ltd to rebrand three hotels in Japan which will be named ANA Crowne Plaza Chiryu located in a city in central Aichi Prefecture belonging to the Nishimikawa Region, ANA Crowne Plaza Kochi located in the capital city of Kochi Prefecture on the island of Shikoku and ANA Crowne Plaza Hamamatsu based in a coastal city  of Honshu in Western Shizuoka Prefecture.

These three hotels scheduled to open in the first half of 2026 will add 539 rooms in total to the IHG Hotels & Resorts portfolio.
