AHETA the Hotels and Tourism Enterprises Association, a non-profit association created in 1995 with the aim of respresenting companies in the hotel, tourist real estate and entertainment sector, including accommodation based recognized for its credibility in defending the business interests of the Algarve has created a General Council.
In a statement, the largest Association of Hotels and Tourism Enterprises of the Algarve based in Albufeira explained that this advisory management body was already provided in its statutes but had never been established.
Thirty members of the various economic activities that make up the Association and with regional representation have been invited to the new AHETA body.
The new, formed General Council in a statement informed that the aim of this body is to advise, suggest, comment and give its critical sense to the activity of the Association and the sector.
The first meeting of the new General Council took place on 16th October 2024 with the coordination of José Carlos Leandro assisted by José Queiroga Valentim invited by the management for this mission.
