Argentina, one of the most important nations in Latin America, according to a declaration by the country's Secretary of Tourism, Daniele Scioli is recovering from the economic crisis that has gripped the South American state for some time, thanks to the activity of tourism, which is proving to be a fundamental pillar.
The Secretary of
Tourism, Environment and Sports defended the measures and positions taken by
the Government led by Javier Milei to consider the tourism industry as
strategic and after reviewing the decisions of the national administration
considering it an engine and a driving force for the Argentinian economy.
The Secretary then stated that as far as the labor reform is concerned, if there is a sector that will be a positive impact on workers and employers, it is tourism, pointing out that the number of travel agencies is growing by 14%, due to the deregulation dictated by the National Government.
A point taken into consideration is also that FEHGRA since 1941 the Hotel and Gastronomy Business Federation of the Argentine Republic representing all hospitality and restaurant activity in the country had raised the need to eliminate the payment of charges as those imposed by payments for rights to music played inside accommodations ande restaurants and the Secretary of Tourism all what was promised was delivered emphasizing about the removal of arbitrary charges with absurd amounts.
The President Javier Milei who proposed tourism as a strategic activity moved forward with an open skies policy and he did not want to overlook other issues addressed by his office such as the regulation of student tourism and the digitalization of tips as other points in favour of tourism activity.
A further additional note the President also confirmed the official decision to place Buenos Aires as a site for a Formula 1 race in 2025, but before it is necessary to finish the racetrack.
Another point underlined is that Argentina has once again become a safe destination alluding to the fact that security and the recovery of public spaces were prominent themes and the country is moving forward with firm actions and optimism with tourism that will be a fundamental pillar of the national recovery.
