Riu Hotels & Resorts, well known Spanish hotel chain founded in 1953 and headquartered in Palma de Mallorca relaunches the Hotel Riu Palace Bavaro, an all-inclusive hotel in Punta Cana, renowned resorts town in the province of La Alta Gracia in the easternmost region of the Dominican Republic.
The accommodation lies on "Playa de Arena Gorda", Arena Gorda beach, one of the most paradisiacal in Punta Cana and in the entire Republica Dominicana about 15 minutes driving southeast of El Macao and a 10 minutes by car northeast of Friusa.
The hotel, which has been completely transformed with a renovated look is much larger than it was before, has reopened its doors in one of the most famous and sought-after areas of the country offering a wide range of amenities and different types of accommodations.
The Hotel Riu Palace Bavaro now has almost a thousand rooms with a shift in focus towards families, with 255 tailor – made rooms for larger families and groups, from extra beds to flexible configurations.
Other accommodations developed are 108 Elite Club rooms including 60 with private pools, as well as services with guaranteed late check-out and priority reservations at the resort's restaurants.
At guests' disposal there is an Elite Club which features an enhanced check-in, additional services, exclusive access to the swimming pool and updated drinks dispenser, exclusive Riu Hotels & Resorts features and access to two swim-up bars.
Among the various services and amenities offered, there is also a diversified and multidisciplinary children's club with different concepts for various age groups, a water park, a pirate ship and a playground among others.
