The planned renovations at the hotel will modernize the facilities and enhancing the guest experience, positioning the Occidental Dresden Newa as a prominent accommodation option in the city.
Guests during their stay at Occidental Dresden Newa will have the opportunity to discover the unique charm of the city admiring the numerous, refined baroque buildings of the city including the Zwinger Palace but also the Brühl's Terrace, the Royal Palace, Semperoper opera house, Frauenkirche and the exclusive villas in the Blasewitz borough among others.
The Director of Barceló Hotel Group Europe, José Ramón Alvarez - Cervela Rodriguez said that Europe is a strategic region for the company's expansion plans due to its enormous tourism potential and Barceló Hotel Group is always looking for opportunities that require its own investments or that arise through agreements with partners in the region.
The opening of the Occidental Dresden Newa is an important step in the growth strategy of the Barceló Hotel Group in Central Europe, this hotel flanks the Barceló Homburg Hotel in Germany and the hotel company currently operates eleven hotels in six countries in central Europe in Germany, Italy, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovenia and Hungary.
