Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, chain of luxury hotels and resorts founded in 2006 and owned by Hilton Worldwide, American multinational hospitality company founded in 1919 and based in Tysons - Virginia – U.S. positioned as the flagship brand within Hilton’s portfolio and used on hotels which offer the highest standards of facilities and service is targeting a spring opening for Waldorf Astoria Costa Rica Punta Cacique.
The hotel is nestled along Costa Rica’s pristine north Pacific Coast on the serene Playa Penca, a stunning beach in Punta Cacique una idillica peninsula that is an ecological jewel in the province of Guanacaste on the opposite side of the bay from Andaz Papagayo within a 18 - minute walk of Coco Beach, an hours’s drive of eco - adventure parks and wildlife tours and 40 minute drive from the Guanacaste Airport.
The 188 - room property will provide six dining outlets, including a signature restaurant showcasing local products and seasonal cuisine and an outpost of the brand’s Peacock Alley venue, which will serve bites and cocktails, Waldorf Astoria Spa, a gym with a movement studio and multilevel pools.
The Waldorf Astoria Costa Rica Punta Cacique will join the luxury brand’s portfolio and is accepting bookings for stays starting on 13th march 2025.
