This documentary produced by China Global Television Network debuted on 17th november 2024, available internationally through the CGTN and in Peru it will broadcast on the platforms of IRTP, the National Institute of Radio and Television of Peru.
This documentary invites viewers to reflect on the shared destiny of humanity, the Great Wall in China and Machu Picchu in Peru, highlighting the similitaries between the civilizations of the Asian country and Inca in South America, such as the recognition of the sun as a deity, spirituality and the use of gold as a symbol of worship.
Through a visual tour with a deep content, two emblematic monuments in two parts of the world very far from each other, the Great Wall of China and Machu Picchu, both representatives of a unique millenary and culture legacy are protagonists.
In the trailer, viewers can see the majestic, imposing Great Wall extended throughout the immense Chinese territory and the iconic, Inca citadel of Mach Picchu in the Andes.
Through this notable contrast the project seeks to highlight common points and foster greater brotherhood between the two countries, promoting cultural exchange and connection between their peoples.
The documentary is also a promotional strategy to attract furthermore Chinese tourists and according to PROMPERÚ figures, until september of the current year, the arrival of 26.375 Chinese visitors has been recorded, a result which represents a great growth of 91% comprend the same period last year.
The documentary will be available in six languages such as Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish, with an upcoming release in Quechua, language originated among the Indigenous people of Peru, bringing this production to global audiences and reinforcing interest in tourism to Machu Picchu and other emblematic destinations of the Andean country.
