Sabre Corporation, global technology company, the
largest distributions systems provider for air bookings, founded in 1960 by
American Airlines and headquartered in Southlake -Texas -U.S. dedicated to

consumer service has announced an important milestone in the distribution of
air travel with the announcement of NDC, New Distribution Capability for Air
India, the flag carrier airline of the Asiatic country owned by Air India Limited
member of Star Alliance founded in 1933 and headquartered in Gurugram, satellite city of Dehli in the state of Haryana.
Air India, as part of its strategic modernization efforts, will benefit from the introduction of NDC offerings through the partnership with Sabre Corporation, improving the way travel agents connected to the Sabre platform book and manage Air India bookings.
Sabre's NDC capabilities are a core component of its multi-source content platform and will provide agencies with rich, real-time content from Air India,ultimately providing travellers with greater transparency, flexibility and choice.
Sabre Corporation and Air India already have an agreement to distribute Air India's traditional content both domestically and globally.
With the launch of NDC offerings through Sabre, Air India aims to further optimize its distribution strategy by providing travel agencies with a wider range of real-time offerings.
By using Sabre's technology, Air India will be able to offer a more agile and efficient shopping experience that meets the dynamic needs of the modern traveller.
Air India's Chief Commercial Officer Nipun Aggarwal said that Air India's aim is to provide superior customer service through advanced and innovative technologies.
Continuing to enhance the partnership with Sabre will advance Air India's NDC strategy to meet the evolving needs of travel agencies and passengers by delivering an enhanced experience.
Senior Vice President Product Management Distribution Experience Sabre Travel Solutions Kathy Morgan said that Sabre is excited to expand its partnership with Air India by launching NDC content and helping to enhance its distribution capabilities, India is a key market for Sabre and the travel industry at large as it drives the increase in travel demand.
It is important that the airline is able to easily distribute its NDC content to third-party providers and in turn that travel agencies are able to search, compare, book and offer different types of airline content to offer travelers who need an engaging experience.
Nowadays, thousands of Sabre-connected agencies in more than 150 countries around the world are already purchasing, booking and servicing NDC content through Sabre Corporation's global travel marketplace.
