Sofitel Hotels & Resorts | Megaproject of a Hotel Complex in Vietnam

 

Sofitel Hotels & Resorts, French hotel chain of luxury hotels headquartered in Paris, founded in 1964 and owned by Accor since 1980 listed on the Paris Stock Exchange, hospitality company that received several international awards for the style and elegance of its offerings after the Legend Metropole Hanoi and the Saigon Plaza is developing a new megaproject in Vietnam which will be the third property in the Asian country.

The Accor group brand is expected to open the Sofitel Sapa Hotel & Residences in six years' time, in 2030 the development is planned in collaboration with Alphanam Group, a private multi-sector company developing six types of real estate including luxury hotels, high-end apartments and social housing.

The Sofitel hotel complex will be located in Sapa, a town located in the picturesque Hoàng Liên Son Mountains of northwestern Vietnam not far from the Chinese border, a popular trekking base overlooking the terraced rice fields of the fertile Muong Hoa Valley, an area that Vietnam wishes to be listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Sofitel Sapa Hotel & Residences will provide 176 rooms and 436 apartments, various restaurants, a spa and a fitness center with heated swimming pool.

Head of Development of Sofitel, Sofitel Legend, MGallery and Emblems Xavier Grange said that with this project Sofitel is on track to almost triple the number of rooms in Vietnam over the next five years.
