IHG, Intercontinental Hotels Group marketed as IHG Hotels & Resorts, British multinational hospitality company based in Windsor, Berkshire, England, UK, listed in the London Stock Exchange and New York Stock Exchange in collaboration with its partner BEST HOSPITALITY Network Inc, a wholly – owned subsidiary of TSUKADA GLOBAL HOLDINGS Inc, headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, announced that the Holiday Inn brand will return to Tokyo in 2025 with the launch and opening of the ANA Holiday Inn Tokyo Bay.
The hotel will be rebranded in April following an extensive renovation and it will be part of the Holiday Inn brand, an American chain of hotels based in Atlanta, Georgia well known globally for its guest - centric and innovative stay experience, providing the services that business travellers need, offering functional rooms, a comfortable atmosphere and several amenities and it will join a portfolio of 10 other ANA Holiday Inns across Japan.
The ANA Holiday Inn Tokyo Bay featuring 132 rooms will be located on the upper floors of Seafort Tower, a story condominium building built in 1993 in Shinigawa, a special ward in the Tokyo Metropolis, a very important nod junction with a station on the Tokaido Shinkansen high - speed line directly connected to Tennozu Isle Station on the Tokyo Monorail and crossed by the subway lines connecting Tokyo to Yokohama, overlooking the Pacific Ocean with commercial port facilities, offering esy access to local attractions, the entertainment hub of Odaiba Island and only 10 kilometres from Haneda airport.
IHG Hotels and resorts operates five hotels across three brands in Tokyo and this new opening represents a further, significant step in the stragey of expansion in Asia and concretely in Japan, a very demanded destination for both business and leisure travellers.
The CEO of IHG ANA Hotel Group Japan and Managing Director of IHG Hotels & Resorts Japan & Micronesia Abhijay Sandilya said that the return of the Holiday Inn brand to Tokyo is a move that will offer domestic and international visitors more options, highlighting in addition the ongoing partnership with BEST HOSPITALITY Network Inc highlighting the IHG Hotels & Resorts plans to expand its portfolio of brands in Japan.
The CEO of BEST HOSPITALITY Network Inc, Masayuki Tsukada expressed enthusiasm over re - introducing the Holiday Inn brand in Tokyo with the ANA Holiday Inn Tokyo Bay opening, considering Japan's high number of arrivals in 2024 believing that it's an ideal time to relaunch this hotel.
