Hyatt Hotels Corporation, American multinational hospitality company headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, commonly known as Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, group that manages, operates and franchises a large international portfolio of business hotels, resorts and vacation properties has announced the opening of Andaz Doha by Hyatt, the first lifestyle brand in Qatar and the fourth Hyatt brand in the city.
The Andaz Doha by Hyatt is located in Doha, capital, multicultural city and main economic and commercial hub of Qatar on the Persian Gulf coast in the east of the country situated in West Bay's financial and diplomatic district, not far from Katara Beach, 5.0 kilometres from Qatar Sports Club Stadium and less than a 20 - minute drive from Hamad International Airport offering an easy access to the various city attractions.
The hotel is part of Andaz, a luxury hotel brand designed to encourage and inspire guests to create their own self - portraits, featuring fluid spaces, no common room barriers and imaginative interiors with the name "Andaz" in Hindi meaning "personal style".
Andaz Doha embodies the traditional Qatari culture and heritage, incorporating unique luxury touchpoints with a design helmed by Brime Robbins, international design partnership based in Madrid, Spain, focused on exceptional creative, technical production and project management who has integrated elements of Qatar's wealth, art contributions, and traditions into the overall aesthetics.
The property features 312 rooms, suites, and residences offers a luxurious and comfortable setting. The residences, which range in size from 100 to 300 square metres, developed for long-term stays, are designed in tasteful hues of cream, amber and gold and they are equipped with dedicated parking spaces and resident - only elevators.
The hotel offers three distinctive dining concepts with focus from various global cuisine styles such as the Salt Road Doha currently operational while Mumble Jungle and Mrs.Hawker are set to open in the coming months.
Other amenities and facilities of the hotel Andaz Doha by Hyatt include the Alara Spa, a fitness centre, an outdoor pool, 1.600 square metres of meeting and event spaces, including a 750.0 square - metre ballroom.
