IHCL, The Indian Hotels Company, well known hospitality group founded in 1902 and headquartered in Mumbai, part of Tata Group operating and managing a wide portfolio of hotels, resorts and vacation properties across the entire Indian territory, managed the sign of a new, exclusive resort in Pench, Madhya, Pradesh, India, the Pench Gateway located in the area of the iconic Pench National Park extending in the states of Madhya Pradesh and Mahrashtra.
This move in partnership with Infraventures Pvt Ltd, one of the fastest emerging key players in the Indian real estate landscape is in line with the strategy of the group, a strategy of expansion, part of a greenfield project branded as a Gateway Resort, a pan - India of upscale/mid - market full –-service hotels and resorts, owned by IHCL, designed for business and leisure travellers, offering a simple and hassle - free experience.
With this addition HCL will operate 15 hotels in Madhya Pradesh, six of which are currently under development and Pench Gateway with its incoprporation contributes to The Indian Hotels Company’s expansion in an area with a very significant potential in a beautiful, natural territory as Pench National Park.
This area is popularly known as the “Mowgli Pearch Sanctuary” drawing inspiration from the famed Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book and it is part of the emblematic Pench Tiger Reserve, one of the most popular wildlife reserves in India, sprawling over a massive area of 758 square kilometres, declared a sanctuary in 1965, raised to the status of a national park in 1975 and enlisted as a tigers reserve in 1992.
The Gateway Pench will be located in Pench Natural Park near the Maharashtra border, a new, 105 - key resort that will spread across over 10 acres offering a blend of comfort and adventure with amenities like an all - day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, a bar, meeting venues, and the guests can unwind at the spa, rejuvenate at the fitness centre and use a swimming pool.
The Executive Vice President of Real Estate and Development at IHCL, Suma Venkatesh, expressed delight in partnering with Mr. Abhijit Mujumdar on the project citing Pench’s status as key national park and the rising demand for quality in the area.
The Managing Director of Abhijit Realtors and Infraventures Pvt Ltd., Abhijit Mujundar, expresses his enthusiasm over the partnership with IHCL looking forward to offering an immersive hospitality experience in the region.
The Director of Shree Jagdmaba Construction Pvt Ltd, Sanket Bawankule, praised the collaboration, stating that the hotel would enhance the region’s offering.
