The hotel located in Mumbai, formerly called Bombay, capital city of the state of Maharashtra on India's Konkan coast on the west coast of India, a centre with a rich cultural and historical heritage, India's largest city and relevant financial hub, famous for its handmade fabrics, textiles, jewellery and well known as the heart of the Bollywood Film Industry.
This expansion of the brand of Accor S.A. is a strategic move in a market as India in continuous development, very trendy destination beloved by many tourists seeking to live authentic experiences and this is the second Fairmont Hotels & Resorts property established in India following the successful launch of Fairmont Jaipur.
This opening was managed in collaboration with Shrem Airport Hotels Private Limited, a company provides a range of hospitality services including accommodation, restaurant, transportation and real estate rental services, a part of the Shrem Group, characterized by a solid concept of creating the best resorts & luxury hotels in its class.
The property is characterized by a design strongly influenced by the Art Deco splendour of New York's golden age flourished during the 1920d and 1930s, a style which broke with many traditional architectural convention highlighted by verticality, ornamentation and specific building materials, combining historic architectural finesse with modern luxury.
