Rio de Janeiro, bustling seaside city in Brazil, famed for its several tourist attractions, including the iconic Copacabana and Ipanema beaches, the gigantic Art Deco statue of Christ the Redeemer atop Mount Corcovado, the Pão de Açúcar, Sugar Loaf Mountain, with its cable car, its annual, raucous Carnaval festival and the largest forest within an urban area, the Tijuca forest will host from 27th to 30th April 2025 the second edition of Web Summit Rio, the largest technology festival in the world.
Web Summit Rio is part of the roster of international events organized by Web Summit, taking the world stage alongside Web Summit in Lisbon, Web Summit Qatar in Doha, Web Summit Vancouver in Canada and RISE in Hong Kong.
The event will be held in Riocentro in Barra de Tijuca, a large exhibition and conference centre with almost 87.000 square metres of indoor spaces, situated in the magical surroundings of a 57 - hectare park facing a natural lake.
This very versatile venue can host every type of event, moreover it can be used in conjunction with the Jeunesse Arena, which is within walking distance.
Web Summit Rio has already confirmed the presence of several important leaders of the high tech international landscape and the"Visit Rio" organization, formally known as Visit Rio Convention Bureau,a private, non-profit foundation dedicated to promoting Rio de Janeiro as a tourist destination and attracting national and international events informed that Web Summit Rio already has 50 confirmed speakers some of them are :
