Nobu Hospitality, American company founded by Japanese celebrity chef, Nobu Matsushisa, famous actor and film producer Robert De Niro and the businessman Meir Teper in partnership with restaurateur Drew Nieporent revealed plans for a new mixed - use project will include a new hotel, a restaurant and Branded residences in Muscat, the capital of the Sultanate of Oman.
The project is the result of a partnership with OMRAN Group, the Oman Tourism Development Company, a Government owned organization mandated to drive the investment, growth and development of the tourism sector in the Sultanate of Oman and Enevoria Development, a high-end property developer focused on creating luxury residential and mixed-use projects in the Middle East.
Nobu Hospitality's mixed – use developments have gained relevance and momentum across the Middle East, with current projects underway in the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Saudi Arabia and now it's time for the Sultanate of Oman, a country located on the southeastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula, a growing destination known for its blend of history, natural beauty, cultural attractions, modern luxury and a relatively relaxed atmosphere.
The country with the beautiful Al Ajar Mountains, the desert and dunes of Wahiba Sands, the Dhofar region with its lush landscapes, the clear --crystal waters of the Sea of Oman embracing the Indian Ocean, lively cities and towns provides a unique setting for this new Nobu experience, making it an ideal location for the brand's continued growth in the region.
The development is in Muscat, a vibrant port city and a hub for trade and commerce sits on the Gulf of Oman surrounded by mountains and desert, boasting a rich history, ancient culture with modern architecture and natural beauty highlighted by stunning attractions include the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, Mutra Souq and 16th century Portuguese forts, vibrant souks.
The complex will span over 60.000 square metres on the pristine Yiti Beach, 28.0 km from Muscat city centre, will include an 80 - room hotel, a signature restaurant, full - service spa and fitness facilities, swimming pools, a beach club, and a collection of Nobu – branded Residences Al Marjan Island.
CEO of Enevoria Development, Evgeny Yakubovskii, expressed his delight at continuing the partnership with Nobu Hospitality and anticipated a successful new project in Muscat.
