IHG Hotels & Resorts, British multinational hospitality company based in Windsor, Berkshire, England, UK announced to open its second Holiday Inn resort in Bodrum, popular seaside town and district of Muğla Province sits on a peninsula and stretching from Turkey's southwest coast into the Aegean Sea, an attractive destination that offers a mix of relevant historical sites, beautiful beaches, a vibrant nightlife, and a charming atmosphere.
The future opening of the Holiday Inn Resort Bodrum West Beach is the result of an agreement signed with Uslu Turizm Insaat Tasimacilik Sanay ve Ticaret A.S., local firm specializes in tourism, travel and hospitality.
IHG's decision to expand in Bodrum reflects the increasing interest in the area as a tourist destination. The company's strategic location choice is intended to capitalize on growth opportunities in the Turkish leisure market in a very demanded destination like Bodrum, which attracts approximately 5 million tourists annually, with about 1.5 million being international visitors.
The new resort, expected to open in mid - 2026 will be situated near Turgutreis Marina on the Aegean coast, offering easy access to local attractions, beaches and vibrant nightlife in a location will enable guests to explore nearby Greek Islands, including Kos, famous island of the Dodecanese, known for its idyllic sandy beaches and also rich with Hellenic and Roman landmarks.
Holiday Inn Resort Bodrum West Beach will feature 460 rooms and amenities such a bar, a resort - style pool, a spa, a conference area and a private sandy beach.
This development marks IHG Hotel & Resorts' second holiday Inn Resort in Bodrum and adds to its portfolio of 33 open hotels in Turkey, with additional 17 in development.
IHG Hotels & Resorts currently operates five brands in Turkey, including Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, InterContinental and Six Senses.
