IHG Hotels and Resorts, British multinational hospitality company headquartered in Windsor, Berkshire, England, UK will open a Vignette Collection hotel in Venice, beautiful capital city of northern Italy's Veneto region, built on a group of 118 small islands in the Adriatic Sea, separated by expanses of open water and by picturesque canals with portion of the city linked by 438 bridges, a unique destination which boasts an incomparable historical and cultural heritage and a unique appeal.
IHG has announced a new agreement with Pacini Group, hospitality, real estate development and management company based in Rome to rebrand The Venice Times hotel.
The property will join the Vignette Collection, marking the second collaboration between the two companies following the development on the Garner Hotel Rome Aurelia, and the rebranding is anticipated to be completed by the end of 2025.
The hotel is located at Calle Priuli dei Cavaletti 99/D in the historical centre of Venice, a few steps from Venice Casino, Ca' d'Oro and Grand Canal, within walking distance of the iconic Rialto Bridge and the La Fenice Theatre, offering an easy access to the emblematic St.Mark Square and to Vaporetto services.
The future hotel will cater to both domestic and international travellers featuring 30 comfortable rooms and will maintain its unique identity with Venetian inspired décor, offering amenities such as a stylish cocktail bar, a restaurant serving locally - inspired cuisine and an outside terrace.
The new development will enter in the Vignette Collection, a luxury brand composed by a family of one - off hotels where guests can indulge a growing passion for stays that are authentic, experiential and considerated, proudly independent hotels which embody comfort and luxury in a unique way.
This development is part of IHG Hotels & Resort strategy to expand its luxury and lifestyle portfolio in Italy. The Venice Times will be the third Vignette Collection signing in Italy within two years, following the Hotel Alexandra located in Rome and Costa Irminia Retreat & Spa in Marina di Ragusa on Sicily.
